JCI Naga Members Complete
the Omoyari Campaign Training

Six (6) JCI Naga members attended the JCI Omoiyari course held on April 12, 2011 at Tabaco City, Albay hosted by JCI Tabaco.

Omoiyari is not a typical training. Most JCI Trainings are focused on things like leadership, on different kinds of personality, personal development, how you become a better project manager and how you become a better organiser, how you manage your time. Omoiyari focuses on the really soft parts of human interaction, but I think that is really important as well, that you don’t forget these parts.
One of the opportunities of being a member of JCI is the development of individual through trainings.  The training combines individual reflection, group discussions and presentations as vehicles for a better understanding of what Omoiyari is, and how it adds value to people and societies. It’s not so much about learning to be altruistic, as about widening the perspective on the role we play as individuals in a society, and about taking action. And Omoiyari is just as relevant for leaders as for activists. There is a rising interest for business leaders and for people higher up in the business hierarchy to take part in social and corporate responsibilty projects and being an active part in changing the world into something better. Judging from the response in the audience, this Omoiyari training was popular and interesting event for those who were there.

The following members of JCI Naga attended the said course. [1] JCI Sen. Enrico Avelino Evangelista [2] JCI Sen. Vincent Lobrigo [3] JCI Mem. Juan Paulo Amanse [4] JCI Mem. Wilfredo Christian Mien [5] JCI Mem. Jeff Martin Abayon and [6] JCI Mem. Francis Seva
