JCI NAGA Goes NATCON SUBIC

The Naga City Jaycees headed to subic to participate in the 58th Junior Chamber International Philippines National Convention last October 12 - 14, 2006 at the Subic Bay Free Zone in Olongapo City. Once again, hundreds of JCIP and JCI members, senators and guests from all over the country convened to participate in this annual festivity.
The JCIP Naga NATCON delegation was headed by its newly elected president, JCI Member Loreto “Nono” Aquino, Jr. who began his term by graduating from the 7th JCI LOM President’s Academy held at the Subic International Hotel. This two day seminar culminated with the official oath taking of all LOM presidents during the Presidential Ball and inducted by the 2007 JCIP National President JCI Mem. Glenn Santos.
JCIP Naga delegates, who also participated the PRIME Coaching Course last October 10 to 12, 2006 at the Suzuki Beach Hotel in Olongapo City, were JCI Members Roy Robert Castro, Alexis Fante and Librado Memdoza Jr. The three-day intensive seminar was a success as JCIP Naga added three new PRIME graduates to its roster of trainers. This was the final PRIME Course and shall be replaced by two programs, namely JCI Presenter and JCI Trainer.
Other members of JCIP Naga who attended were JCI Members Pros Capagas, Sherwin France and BB Jaycee Vincent Lobrigo. The group departed with enthusiasm as JCIP Naga took part on this momentus occasion by co-hosting the National Trainers Forum with the Legazpi Dawani Jaycees last October 13, 2006 at the Olongapo Convention Center. The hosts were spearheaded by Past National Vice President for Bicol Region JCI Sen. Lani Loria and forum was led by the 2006 National Training Commission Chairman, JCIP Naga's very own JCI Sen. Enrico Avelino Evangelista.
The 2006 NATCON SUBIC was hosted by JCIP Olongapo and the activities included the following: the 2007 National Board Meeting and Planning Session; Opening Plenary with Congressman Chiz Escudero as Guest Speaker; LOM Secretary General's Seminar; Twinning Ceremony; TheTemiong Awards Night; the JCIP Culliat-Gapo Poker Tournament; and series of seminars and trainings, and sponsored fellowship nights.
Also present in the convention are representatives of JCIP Naga Cariñosa led by 2006 National Senior Executive Vice President JCI Sen. Sol Magtuto, 2006 National Vice President for Bicol Region JCI Mem. Dette Quinto, 2007 LOM President JCI Mem. Malu Bonita and JCI Mem. Ruby Dy and BB Jaycee Lorei Joy Madrid.
The 2006 Subic NATCON culminated with a farewell party dubbed as "Cebu Havana Night" signaling hte JCIP Cebu's hosting of the 59th National Convention in year 2007.
