Taking advantage of the annual Halloween tradition during All Soul’s Day, Jaycee member’s kids or JC Tots, dressed in their costumes and with their loot bags, goes from one sponsor establishment to another to ask for treats i.e. candies and giveaways. (Otherwise the children threaten the establishment with a trick. Well, all sponsor establishments manage to give some treats to the JC Tots.) Later on the JC Tots and parents convene in a fast-food restaurant to have fun, games, and enjoy their Halloween party.

Bicol is one of the top regions with cases of abuse children and youth. Taking this into account, JCI Naga studied simple means to alleviate the problem and tried to create a child abuse intervention project. The aim is to converge parents and their children thru the help of social workers and ABS-CBN Bantay-Bata foundation and give seminars on positive parenting, children’s rights, and give legal counsel to those who were abused.

In order to alleviate the overall cost of a local chapter induction, an income generating project must be developed. The project however, must be unique and enticing to avoid client fatigue. Since, cellular phones are one of the top devices purchased by consumers we made it the raffle prizes. It is called double raffle because the ticket buyer and seller will each win the same prize.

http://www.nagajaycees.org is the official website of the Naga City Jaycees. The primary aim of the project is to make the local organization have an international presence through the internet. This presence will serve as a venue for announcement and news of local activities, source of information for members, other LOM, and those who would like to join the organization. It will also serve as an ancillary venue for business networks and a good source of fund from the advertisement.

The aim of this project is to live up to what we believe in, as embodied in our “Jaycee Creed”. This week long of activities aims to immortalize our leadership branding and community services. It is a hype but objective celebration that will make Jaycee Week an annual local festivity that is beneficial to the community and the organization.
